Percy Jackson and The Olympians will be missing two regular faces when season 3 launches, show star Walker Scobell has confirmed.
The Disney+ series, based on the epic fantasy book series by Rick Riordan, is set to return to our screens this November, picking up on the story of The Titan’s Curse.
But throughout the tale of Greek mythology, fans have been eager to see the arrival of Charles Beckendorf and Silena Beauregard – a romantic couple who are children to Gods Hephaestus and Aphrodite, respectively.
In 2025, Percy Jackson showrunners Jonathan E Steinberg, Dan Shotz and Craig Silverstein promised they will be "series regulars" once they arrive, but neither have made their on-screen debut yet.

Now Walker Scobell – who plays Percy – has confirmed they won’t be in season three either.
Speaking to TV Insider at New York Comic Con this year, Scobell said: "There’s just too much going on.
"There are a couple other characters that we introduce [in season 3], but it’s not Silena and Beckendorf.
"I’m only saying that now because I know that, when the press tour starts, I’m going to get a million questions that’s like, 'How is working with Silena and how is working with Beckendorf?'"
In The Titan’s Curse, Percy finds himself on a new perilous journey when, during a bid to save siblings Nico and Bianca Di Angelo, close friend Annabeth Chase (Leah Sava Jeffries) is kidnapped by the forces of Kronos.
On a mission to get her back, Percy and best friend Grover (Aryan Simhadri) find themselves making unlikely new friends as they face off against new foes, and discover a prophecy that could leave the fate of Olympus in one of their hands.
Star Wars actress Ming-Na Wen joins the cast as Hera, Queen of the Olympian Gods; Kate McKinnon will play Aphrodite, Goddess of love and beauty; and Mindhunter’s Holt McCallany will play Atlas, the Titan condemned to hold up the sky for eternity.
Also confirmed to appear are: Dafne Keen as Artemis, Jennifer Beals as Demeter, Hubert Smielecki as Apollo, David Costabile as Dr Thorn, and Saara Chaudry as Zoe Nightshade.
Annabeth’s human father Frederick will also make an appearance, played by The Flash’s Jesse L Martin.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 will arrive on Disney+ and Hulu on Friday 20 November.
