co-founder record collection is set to be sold off through London record shop .

The Glasgow DJ was hugely respected across the music spectrum, with Optimo’s legendary Sub Club residency going down in history.

Real name Keith McIvor, the DJ passed away last year following treatment for a brain tumour, sparking a wave of tributes.

A lifelong music fanatic, JD Twitch amassed an enormous record collection, moving from post-punk and industrial through to techno chuggers, electro, and beyond.

The collection is set to be sold through World Of Echo, who will give over the entire East London shop to the collection from November 14th.

World Of Echo announce the news :

World of Echo has the great honour of presenting the record collection of Keith McIvor, aka JD Twitch, life-long collector and DJ, and one half of the inestimable Optimo (Espacio). Part one of the collection – circa 7-8000 records – will be available to purchase in-store only from 10am on Saturday 14th November, and the shop will be solely dedicated to Keith until Thursday 19th, at which point we will revert back to normal service and the records will remain in our usual second hand section. Part two will follow at some point in early 2027 – details to follow in good time.
