and will combine on a new ‘expectations’ remix.

The duo confirmed the news a few moments ago, and it represents a crucial pop crossover moment. ‘expectations’ originally appeared on Olivia Rodrigo’s critically acclaimed third album, ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’, and it’s now set to be reworked.

The pop heroine is fresh from chairing her all-female Daisy Chain Fields festival in California, raising $20 million for 10 non-profit organizations dedicated to advancing and advocating for women and girls.

For her part, Chappell Roan will host her own charity fundraiser, The Super Graphic Spectacular and The Super Graphic Block Party, in Los Angeles later this month.

The two appear on this new ‘expectations’ remix, which lands on October 15th. It will be available digitally, and on physical formats with limited edition 7” vinyls, CDs and cassettes. Available for pre-order now at both artists’ stores here and here.

The remix was produced by their mutual collaborator, Daniel Nigro, and it represents Chappell Roan’s first ever feature. An official music video will drop at the same time featuring both Rodrigo and Roan, directed by .
