Nobody Wants This returns for season 3, bringing Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody) back to Netflix as the couple finally move in together and settle into a relationship that, for once, isn't built on a will-they-won't-they cliffhanger.
Co-showrunner Jenni Konner has said the team no longer needed the romantic suspense of earlier runs: "We know they are going to, and it was sort of, 'How are they going to?'"
The new season picks up after the season 2 finale, in which Joanne decided to convert to Judaism just as Noah resolved to stay with her whatever she chose.
Season 3 sends Joanne into an Intro to Judaism class, pushes Sasha (Timothy Simons) and Esther (Jackie Tohn) back into the dating world, and has Morgan (Justine Lupe) edging towards media stardom, all while a new wave of guest stars enters the couple's orbit.

What else has Adam Brody been in? Most people will know him from teen drama The OC. He's also appeared in films Jennifer's Body, Shazam!, Ready or Not, The Kid Detective, Promising Young Woman and American Fiction, and drama Fleishman Is in Trouble.

What else has Justine Lupe in? Most people will recognise Lupe from Jesse Armstrong's Succession.

Who is Sasha? Sasha is Noah's brother. In season 3, he is thrust back into dating, fumbling through the awkwardness of meeting someone new, while an unspoken something grows between him and Morgan.
What else has Timothy Simons been in? He's best known for political satire Veep. Simons has also appeared in The Handmaid's Tale.

Who is Esther? Esther is Sasha's wife, and this season she too is pushed back into the dating world, navigating the unexpected thrill and awkwardness that comes with it.
What else has Jackie Tohn been in? You might recognise her from Netflix wrestling comedy-drama GLOW.

Who is Bina? Noah and Sasha's mum. Bina is a formidable matriarch who was firmly against Noah and Joanne's relationship, but is ever so slowly warming to them.

Who is Lynn? Joanne and Morgan's mum. She has spent much of the series so far adjusting to life after her decades-long marriage ended. Lynn was described as having a "New Age propensity for the mystical".
What else has Stephanie Faracy been in? You might recognise her from films Hocus Pocus, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates and The Great Outdoors. Faracy has also appeared in sitcom True Colours and comedy-drama The Lot.

Who is Henry? Joanne and Morgan's dad. He was married to Lynn for years, but ended their marriage because he's gay.
What else has Michael Hitchcock been in? You might recognise him from mockumentary Best in Show, comedy drama United States of Tara, romantic musical comedy-drama Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Christmas comedy EXmas and Ryan Murphy's Glee.

Who is Sebastien? Rannells plays Sebastien, an opinionated classmate who becomes Joanne's nemesis in her conversion class. Showrunners Konner and Kaplan leaned into the real-life rapport between Rannells and close friend Bell to shape the role.
Where you've seen Andrew Rannells before: Rannells broke through on Broadway as Elder Price in The Book of Mormon, earning a Tony nomination and a Grammy for the cast album. On screen he is widely known as Elijah in HBO's Girls, which Konner and Kaplan executive-produced, and he starred in The New Normal.
