Out now, the track follows her second EP ‘Payback Is A Dog’, a work of soulful truth-telling which emerged earlier this year.

Part of her ongoing creative evolution, ‘Mr. Right’ is about feeling alone while others are in a relationship, and it speaks to that feeling of waiting for your turn.

A cuffing season anthem built in LA, Nia comments:

‘Mr Right’ is a song for those who can’t seem to find their person, while being surrounded by people who have. It follows the loneliness of watching everyone around you fall in love and wondering when it’ll finally be your turn.

I made it in LA with Kamal (Wilson) and Jonah (Christian) and it felt like a magical session. I picked up the guitar and the song sort of wrote itself.
