“hit record” follows “twenty9” and “raffle ticket”, two already released tracks that will also be on the EP. Yeira wrote it across three years, exploring the uncertainties of relationships, identity, and ambitions in your 20s.

Yeira was born and raised in Jakarta before relocating to London. Her father worked as a film director and she developed an interest in storytelling that now extends across her music and visual language. Her wider creative practice includes digital design, mixed media, 3D art, and creative coding.

Yeira said “hit record” was written with LA-based producer Sean Hamilton (H.E.R, Toby Mac, EXO) a few years ago, "during a bit of a rock bottom and realised that when you reach that point, the only way left to go is up. It’s about taking your power back and recording yourself on your own terms, no matter what comes of it."
