The electronic maverick offered his album ‘Evaporator’ back in February, earning access the board plaudits in the process.

Continuing to evolve, Nathan Fake has proved to be fantastically productive, and a new EP is on the way.

Out on October 23rd via InFiné, the four-tracker extends Nathan Fake’s vision still further, adding different details in the process.

The title track is out now – an extensive seven minute workout, it’s an analogue synth journey. Nathan Fake comments…

“I think a caldera is a lake at the top of a volcano, and the track feels quite versatile because it could be icy and cold, or it could be hot. It’s a word that doesn’t immediately conjure something up for most people, but I’m very into geographical stuff.”
