will release his new album ‘Songs For Sinners’ on October 30th.

The incoming album is the lauded jazz drummer’s first album in six years, and it follows his return over the summer period.

Responsible for the groundbreaking club track ‘Rye Lane Shuffle’, Moses Boyd is a key figure within the UK firmament, but he’s taken his time over his next step.

Out on October 30th, new album ‘Songs For Sinners’ represents a full 360 manifestation of his vision, and it will be released via Exodus.

Discussing the album, Moses Boyd comments:

The hardest I’ve worked on any music and definitely the most I’ve poured myself into a body of work. Songs For Sinners is a sound I’ve wanted to create since I got into music. Being surrounded by Gospel music my whole life then finding my way through Jazz and sound system culture. I’m extremely proud I’ve managed to execute the vision I had.

New single ‘Criticise’ is graced with a performance from London-based vocalist , and it pieces together abstract slices of soul with Moses’ powerhouse jazz technicalities.

A song about shame and forgiveness, it’s a heavy duty glimpse of the drummer’s upcoming album.
