UK singer-songwriter has released her new EP, ‘Eyes Wide Open’.

Hailing from Lancaster, Warburton brings her panoramic alt-pop overtures into sharp focus on a shimmering 5-track EP; take the highlight ‘Dancing With Devils’, a glazed, hands-in-the-air anthem with just the right dose of euphoric uplift.

Recalling the balladic majesty of Florence + The Machine, the synth-pop flourishes of Little Boots and KT Tunstall’s electric blues opus ‘Eye to the Telescope’ – a core influence – ‘Eyes Wide Open’ chronicles a period of transition for Warburton.

It’s a project that pulls at the heartstrings whilst purging the people and experiences that no longer serve her. The title is the epiphany that arises when you stop living through someone else’s perspective and begin experiencing life on your own terms.

Of the project, Molly says:

“This is probably the most honest, most ‘me’ music I’ve ever written. ‘Eyes Wide Open’ is about time passing – how age and a bit of wisdom finally show you what life’s actually about.”

Since her debut in 2019, Warburton has refined her craft through years of relentless gigging; it’s onstage that her affirming anthems really strike a chord.

Warburton has performed at festivals including Kendal Calling, The Great Escape, Highest Point and Forgotten Fields, shared stages with artists including Jade Bird, Andrew Cushin and Tom Meighan, and was selected through a national competition to join Lucy Spraggan’s UK tour.
