GRAMMY-nominated artist  will release his debut album ‘Electric Future Gangster’ on November 20th via Mass Appeal.

Following prelude single ‘Still Loading’, the Raleigh, North Carolina polymath shares new single ‘Platinum Fubu’ – a guitar-inflected, nostalgia-soaked lamentation on the shifting tides of modern romance.

Of the single which features Seattle, Washington singer-songwriter UMI, Mez says:

“When you turn on “Platinum FUBU”, everything else dissolves. That’s the feeling I wanna share anyway. The rest of the world goes quiet; it’s just you and that person, and that’s where all the negative space in this video comes from.”

‘Electric Future Gangster’ is a genre and medium-spanning project bridging Mez’s experiences across music, filmmaking and entrepreneurship – his most personal undertaking yet.

Recently, he featured on Dahi’s album ‘Black Boy (Alternative)’ and directed the music video for Dahi’s single ‘How To Pray’, featuring Kendrick Lamar and Amber Mark.
