The club are in the Guinness Book Of Records as the world’s oldest football team, founded in the middle of the industrial revolution before football in its modern sense came into focus.

The Sheffield sporting institution is currently being headed up by Reverend & The Makers’ figure Jon McLure, a local hero who is helping drive the club forwards.

The shirt for the coming season has been launched, and Melanie C – the world famous Sporty Spice – will sponsor the women’s team.

It’s a huge show of support for Sheffield F.C., while the men’s team will be sponsored by one of the country’s biggest shopping centres, Meadowhall.
