Crime drama Annika, which aired two seasons on U&Alibi (then Alibi) between 2021 and 2023, has now arrived on Netflix, allowing a whole new set of viewers to see it.
The series stars Nicola Walker as DI Annika Strandhed, and was inspired by BBC Radio 4's audio drama Annika Stranded. It follows Walker's character as she's tasked with solving coastal crimes as part of Glasgow's Marine Homicide Unit, whilst also navigating a turbulent home life.
Throughout the series, the character is keeping a whole host of secrets, many of which came "home to roost" in the second season, according to Walker.
Sadly, it was revealed last year that there are "no current plans for a third series," meaning these two batches of six episodes may be all we get.
Still, the series is well worth tuning in for, not least because of its cast, including Walker, Jamie Sives, Katie Leung and two Doctor Who alumni, in the form of Paul McGann and Varadae Sethu.
But who else stars in the Alibi drama and who do they all play? Read on for everything you need to know about the cast of Annika.
