May Payne details Keeper EP with "Martha, I'm Sorry" single

was recorded live in a cottage in rural Wales in late 2025 during sessions with producer Sean Rogan (Bonnie Kemplay, Bertie Newman) and session drummer Rhys Jiang. They deliberately recorded live and did not rely on any loops, click tracks, or MIDI instruments. "You can really feel the seclusion, vulnerability, and human-ness," Payne said of the recordings.

Payne was raised in Dorset on a diet of '00s emo and classic folk and is now part of a close-knit London songwriting community. She recently wrapped a run of UK shows supporting Francis of Delirium and had a headline single release show at The Lower Third on 2 October. Further dates supporting Quiet Houses follow in October, and she headlines Bermondsey Social Club on 19 November. Check out the new track below.
