will release new album ‘While The Flood Rages’ on October 16th.

The composer unites with Wayne McGregor once more, and the album emerges from a co-commission between the  and the  inspired by ’s MaddAddam trilogy.

Out on October 16th, the album isn’t technically a soundtrack, functioning instead as a standalone companion work. “I took the material apart and created a trajectory that makes sense just through listening,” Richter explains. “It’s a different way to reach the same destination.”

Featuring 15 tracks and three arcs, the album kicks off with probing, emotive new work ‘Now We Can Sing’.
