follows Father Hell's debut standalone single "Let Go" released earlier this year, with lead single "Bottle That Happiness" serving as the first introduction to the collection of songs.

"Bottle That Happiness" was one of the few songs that Vant brought into the studio already written, and became an early reference point for the rest of the album. "'Bottle That Happiness' came from the idea of being able to draw on moments of pure joy in times of hardship. It also tries to question what is valuable in life and where our focus should lie," Vant says of the track. "The cello and harmonica were added once I took it into the room and they give a real Lynchian darkness to it. In many ways this song was the start point for the whole record."

Vant gave himself a week to make . He spent 12-hour days in the studio, committing to what came out during those sessions and ultimately writing most of the album during this stint.

The album was made largely on an analogue four-track tape machine, a choice that meant that Vant had to accept mistakes as they came rather than over-polishing the tracks.

"It felt like being a kid again," he explains. "The nature of working purely on an analogue four-track tape machine for the first time also informed that feeling of freedom. Once you realise there is no such thing as 'correct', you naturally stop questioning every little detail and start to enjoy the bigger picture."
