Massive Attack Launch New Bohemian F.C. Strip

and Bohemian F.C. have launched a new strip.

The third jersey will be used by the fan-owned Dublin club in the 2026 FAI Cup, and it follows similar link ups with the groups such as Fontaines D.C. and Kneecap.

The jersey has a Cuban flavour – indeed, it was crafted in partnership with Cuba Vive Medical Aida Appeal and mediCuba-Europe.

Out shortly, the shirt incorporates Bohemian F.C. heritage alongside new aspects. The shirt body has thick khaki and black stripes, with a red neck V shape centred by a large white star taken from the Cuban flag; the front features the Massive Attack logo, and the stripes are adorned with the words of Guevara’s historic address.

Some intriguing design notes: the crest is in the Irish language, and the words “Love is a doing word”, from Massive Attack classic ‘Teardrop’, adorn the inside neck tape. Furthermore, an embroidered hem tag features Jim Fitzpatrick’s iconic image of Che Guevara alongside his signature.

Massive Attack say of the shirt:

“We’re proud to follow the tradition of musicians who’ve collaborated with Bohemian F.C. to support a fan-owned football club, at the same time drawing attention to important social or political issues.

The strip design references the Irish connection to Che Guevara in terms of his ancestry and the iconic two-tone graphic created by Dublin artist Jim Fitzpatrick. It reproduces text of Che’s speeches that underline the importance of international solidarity in resisting colonial, and neo-colonial, imperialist aggressions. His words still contain resonance for the political struggles of today.

Our nominated charities arrange urgent shipments of medical aid to Cuba, where vital hospital supplies are threatened by the Trump administration’s blockade of the island, an illegal act of collective punishment of the Cuban people.”
