has shared his latest single, ‘Don’t Know Why’,

A glimpse into his forthcoming album, ‘Hold That Ghost Down’, the Waterford riser creates a space for introspective storytelling. Exploring themes of loneliness, hope, and identity, the track offers a familiar, heartwarming take on folk-rock.

Mark Duggan’s journey traces back to his early childhood, flicking through an MP3 player his father passed down to him. Loaded with tracks from The Beatles and Bruce Springsteen, the budding musician would study the Greats’ lyricism and form his own aspirations as a songwriter, piecing together his inner reverie across warm-toned acoustics.

Since his award-winning debut EP ‘Long Way Home’, Mark Duggan has continued to evolve as a universal artist, now building towards his most confrontational work to date. With a string of singles already under his belt, ‘Don’t Know Why’ promises to be a truly special listen.

Tune in now.
