and Charli xcx have shared new song ‘Danceteria Afterhours’.

The original song ‘Danceteria’ acts as Madonna’s origin story, a glimpse of early 80s New York placed on her (excellent) recent album ‘Confessions II’.

This new take on the song pivots between generations, with Charli’s opening soliloquy recalling her first how as a 15-year-old at a rave in Hackney Wick.

It’s a beautiful crossover moment, and it follows some playful social media exchanges between the two, and of course Madonna and Charli’s CLUB CONFESSIONS party with Saint Laurent during Paris Fashion Week.
