first came to be when Hauke started to question where he could take Broken Beat sounds next, pushing into darker, faster territory.

Inspired by Mark Mac's , the ten-track album moves away softer, jazzier tendencies to embrace more electro, club music and experimental electronic textures. "I knew there was something I rejected in Broken Beat. I didn't like how soft and jazzy it was, so I thought, why not make what I wanted to hear?" Hauke says. "FYS" arrives as the introduction to his heavier dance sound.

The album was largely produced between July and December 2025. Around 15 additional tracks were made during the process, but Hauke chose the final ten based on groove, movement and varied moods. "I feel the style has more room to evolve," he says. "I wanted to explore that and think about what the future of electronic music looks like to me."

Hauke has spent over a decade developing a sound rooted in groove and energy, spanning house, techno and Broken Beat. He currently plays live in King Krule's band and has toured across the US and Europe. His production has also been featured on Fabric's Broken Beat compilation and Mount Kimbie's , with support from Mary Anne Hobbs, Jamz Supernova and Lefto.
