LLoren previews first chapter of upcoming three-part album Love Is Alien (To Me) with new single, "Take Me Away"

Love Is Alien (To Me) is an expansive, three-chapter narrative that uses an intergalactic sci-fi story to explore love, heartbreak, family, birth and death, travel, and belonging. On , LLoren leaves Earth in search for love, with the remainder of the story to unfold across the chapters to follow.

"Take Me Away", written and produced alongside Anna Schulze (Gin Wigmore, Ingrid Michaelson), opens the first chapter. On the track, Lloren investigates what other forms of life and love exist on planets beyond what we're already aware of. "I think we've all wanted to eject ourselves from the planet at some point or another, the question remains, would whatever's out there be better than this?" Lloren explains. "'Take Me Away' is fun, it's romantic, and it's silly, but in a 'this isn't all that silly' kind of way!"

Last year, Lloren released her debut album It's Always Sunny In LA, followed by her two-volume EP. She has performed at Pride events in London and Manchester, made an appearance at the Isle of Wight festival, and played shows with Fleurie, Johannes Oerding and Michael Patrick Kelly. While her music has featured as the backdrop to moments in , , The L Word, (UK and USA), (UK and USA), her next chapter sees her delve further into her style of cinematic storytelling for a work that veers into the otherworldly.
