have shared their new single ‘A Minute On The Lips’.

The song is a key moment in their live set, a full demonstration of Little Grandad’s interwoven musicality. Tinged in Autumnal introspection, ‘A Minute On The Lips’ has a wry, tongue-in-cheek side, with the lyrics taking aim at a man who’s already blown his chances during a love affair.

A lilting, heavily melodic offering, ‘A Minute On The Lips’ opens the band’s incoming debut album, which was constructed during downtime from their heavy touring schedule.

Produced by Kev Jones at Rockfield Studios, Wales, the incoming record is titled ‘Speak Softly, Son’ and it lands on January 22nd.

‘A Minute On The Lips’ neatly encapsulates the sound of a band on the rise, with Little Grandad’s primary songwriter Harry Lower calling it “a tongue-in-cheek song about trying to go back to something when you’ve already ruined your chances.”
