Another exciting episode of Lanterns has landed on streaming, debuting a new incarnation of a classic comic book villain – and revealing a surprise connection to Batman's stomping ground.
The sci-fi drama is inspired by DC's Green Lantern comics, pairing veteran space cop Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) with ambitious rookie John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) for an Earth-based mystery.
Although largely self-contained, the show does take place in James Gunn's rebooted DC Universe, with Pierre set to reprise his role in next year's Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow.
