Konyikeh’s ‘Scar’ Carries A Fragile Beauty

has shared her beautiful new song ‘Scar’.

Out now, it follows her recent project ‘Cinere’, with ‘Scar’ seemingly falling into place in a matter of hours.

Out now via FAMM, Konyikeh speaks from the heart, with the lyric discussing the need to set boundaries and chose who comes in to your life.

Konyikeh comments…

“For the sake of self-preservation, I’ve had to cut people out of my life over the past year and re-evaluate certain relationships. People assume it doesn’t hurt when you’re the one doing the cutting off, but I believe it can hurt even more. Looking back, I realised some people didn’t view me as a human being or understand that their actions affected me, even when I communicated that. The song is really asking what it will take for somebody to recognise the hurt they have caused.”

Tune in now.

Konyikeh will play St Pancras Old Church in London on November 5th.
