The trio are based in Deptford, three musicians working on a DIY basis. Transforming the front room of their flat into an ad hoc studio, kid apollo merge different lanes, pulling on U.g. rap, club styles, and more.

Together the group – Jimmy, and twins Felix and Theo Ratigan – have forged something unusual, with 2026 bringing a flurry of singles.

The instantly infectious ‘kumbaya’ was coupled to ‘ups/downs’ and ‘easier’, before sharing ‘i let the sun back in’, the title song of their new mixtape.

Out now, the 12-track project is their most in-depth endeavour to date, and it neatly frames both their sound, and their DIY methods.
