will release his new album ‘Spin’ on January 29th.

The musician took himself away to Northern Japan’s main island of Hokkaidō to complete the writing session he began in his Montreal home, with ‘Spin’ coming to life somewhere in between those destinations. A fascinating musical voice, his 2024 album ‘ Jonah Yano & the Heavy Loop’ was something of an artistic breakthrough.

New album ‘Spin’ lands on January 29th via Innovative Leisure, and it was finally recorded over a five day span at Port William Sound in Mountain Grove, Ontario.

Overseeing every single sonic aspect, Jonah was joined by his trusty band – the Heavy Loop – with additional production contributions from Zhang (aka Monsune).

Two new song are out now – the breathy, vaporous, feather-soft ‘Spin’ and the groove-infused ‘Holding On’.
