Guy Ritchie has been an extremely busy man in recent years – and now the filmmaker has just announced another new project that reunites him with one of his most frequent collaborators: Jason Statham.
The upcoming movie – which is written, directed and produced by Ritchie – will be titled Dogfight and marks the seventh film that the pair have made together.
It is being made for Netflix and is described by the streamer as a "stylish revenge actioner set in the London criminal underworld", with production set to get underway in the UK early next year.

Statham will also produce alongside Ritchie, Ivan Atkinson and John Friedberg, while no further casting announcements have been announced at this stage.
Ritchie and Statham's creative partnership goes all the way back to Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels in 1998 – which marked the first film of each of their careers as director and actor respectively.
They'd go on to team up again for Snatch two years later, while their other collaborations have included Revolver, Wrath of Man and most recently 2023's Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre.

Their sixth collaboration will be the upcoming Viva La Madness which is currently scheduled for a 2028 release and also features Vinnie Jones, Jason Isaacs and Camila Mendes among other.
Ritchie has been in especially prolific form in the last half decade or so, having already released as many as six features since 2021, with both the aforementioned Viva La Madness and action thriller Wife & Dog also coming up in the near future.
And that's without even mentioning his small screen commitments, where's he's found success with The Gentlemen – a spin-off from his own 2019 film – in addition to Mobland and Young Sherlock.
As for Statham, he's developed a reputation as one of Hollywood's foremost action specialists, with recent credits including The Beekeeper, A Working Man, Shelter and Mutiny.
He's also got several other new projects in the pipeline including a sequel for The Beekeeper and the intriguingly titled Jason Statham Stole My Bike – which will see him star as a fictionalised version of himself.
Guy Ritchie's The Gentlemen is available to stream now on Netflix.
