I'm a Celebrity 2026 set to launch later than planned amid ITV's big football scheduling

The start date for I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2026 has reportedly been delayed to avoid a football clash.

The next season of the show, which is said to have been scheduled to launch on 15 November 2026, has been postponed by ITV after the broadcaster purchased the rights to the UEFA Nations League, according to The Sun.

The international tournament kicks off on 24 September and will conclude on 17 November, with England set to take on World Cup winners Spain on Sunday 15 November.

That match is due to kick off at 8:45pm in Madrid – just 15 minutes before this year’s I’m a Celeb was reportedly due to launch.

The Sun reports that the launch date for the upcoming season of I'm a Celebrity will now be Monday 16 November.

The cast of I'm a Celebrity 2025 all stood around one another, smiling ahead.

Radio Times reached out to ITV for comment. A source said: "Following the huge success of this year’s World Cup, bosses are overjoyed to have such a stellar line up of Entertainment and Sport this Autumn on ITV."

The source added: "Bosses have pulled out all the stops to ensure this year's IAC launch show is must-see TV".

ITV is yet to confirm the line-up for I’m a Celebrity 2026, but speculation about who could be taking part has been rife.
