Hate is a strong word but it barely does justice to the disdain that local and Championship rivals Southampton and Portsmouth hold for each other.
That is what makes Sunday's South Coast derby massive for both clubs and a thrilling watch for the neutral.
Bragging rights feel more important than ever as both games ended even last term, when they renewed their rivalry after more than a decade in different leagues.
Saints will have manager Tonda Eckert on the touchline after he was handed a suspended ban for his part in the Skygate saga.
The hosts are still working their way up the table after being handed a four-point penalty, while Pompey will look to move further clear of the bottom three.
