Beyond The Music has also revealed the full Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness conference programme, which will kick off on Wednesday, 7 October with the programme, introduced by Bev Craig, the new Mayor of Greater Manchester and founding member of Beyond The Music. This will be followed by Tom Gray, Chair of The Ivors Academy’s A Place For Us: A call for a sovereign creativity address, as well as summit discussions ranging from creative activism for artists to addressing the class divide within the creative industries.

Thursday’s summit programme will cover topics ranging from music industry investment to exploring new directions for the live music ecosystem. Over one-hundred speakers will be taking part in the conference with several new additions revealed today, including Jo Charrington, President of Capitol Records UK, The Ting Tings, Tom Kiehl, CEO of UK Music, Trigga, and more.

Beyond The Music 2026 is also set to feature an exclusive premiere of the 24th Anniversary edition of 24 Hour Party People and the debut launch of Billboard UK’s 40 Under 40 list. There will also be an All Content AI Summit backed by Andy Burnham, Prime Minister of the UK, which will bring together practitioners and policymakers from different content industries to explore an integrity-first position for AI.
