have shared their new single ‘Sore Loser’.

The duo – James Knott and Noah Yorke – formed while studying at Goldsmith, wiling away the hours by making music at their halls of residence. A blast of sonic energy, Hex Girlfriend merge searing, ultra-bright pop melodies with breakcore and crunching alt tones, forging a larger-than-life experience in the process.

Releasing through Soil To The Sun Recordings, new single ‘Sore Loser’ continues their rise. Nailing the band’s serio-comic lyrical stance, it’s a blaze of colour and pointed digitalism.

The band say: “‘Sore Loser’ is a song about trying to see yourself from an outside perspective and putting your frustrations and problems into a wider context…“

Out now, the single comes with news of a live run in March 2027. Opening in Leeds, the run includes a night at London’s Lexington venue on March 3rd.

Tune in now.
