will release his debut album ‘Let It Set Us Alight’ on October 30th.

The songwriter has been quietly causing a buzz in London, with a recent packed out show at pivotal venue the George Tavern signalling that something special is happening.

Debut album ‘Let It Set Us Alight’ is the realisation of that early promise, hewn together from home recorded sessions at a student house in Lewisham.

Out on October 30th, Henry says of the album: “It’s about finding peace in the chaos. The music is based around my own questioning. It details losing the faith that has also been the bedrock of my entire life, and what it means to walk away from that. It’s about me really trying to figure out where I stand.”

New single ‘Regret (You Make Me)’ wears its emotions on its sleeve, a space for Henry to explore the knots of his personal life. Finely balanced, he knows when to be direct, and when to offer something a little more calming. He says of the song…

“‘Regret (You Make Me)’ speaks to standing for something in the past that you don’t connect with anymore and feeling like you’ve wasted time by doing so, whether it’s a friendship, or a deeply-held belief. It deals with the conflict of no longer feeling that faith, as you question both the time you’ve wasted versus what you could now have if you’d only gone further in your commitment.”
