Harlan Coben is heading back to Netflix, but not with another twisty crime thriller as many have come to expect from the bestselling author.
Instead, it's now been confirmed that Coben will be heading up his first original podcast for the streamer, a talk show built around the real and fictional plot twists that shape people's lives.
Netflix announced the project as part of a wider expansion of its video-podcast slate, which now features more than 60 titles.
The company said it is renewing its entire original podcast line-up for additional episodes while adding new shows from Coben and comedian Katt Williams, both due to premiere later in 2026.
The move marks a notable change of pace for Coben, whose name is usually attached to gripping limited series that leave fans binge-watching and talking for weeks on end about his signature twists.
Coben has of course graced the streamer with a run of hit adaptations of his work, most recently with I Will Find You, which followed in the number one ranking footsteps of Missing You and Fool Me Once – the latter of which is still among the platform's most popular Coben titles.
So, the podcast is a marked change in Coben's Netflix repertoire but will nonetheless pique the interest of his devoted fanbase. As of now, Netflix hasn't revealed a title or release date for the podcast, but Coben explained the concept in a statement provided by the streamer.

He said: "I'm excited to create my first original podcast with Netflix, they've been a wonderful partner in telling new stories. I've always been fascinated by plot twists, in fiction and in real life, especially the unexpected turns that change who we are.
"What's the plot twist that formed you, surprised you, changed your life for the better, or even the worse? That's a question I'm excited to explore together with a wide variety of guests, from writers and artists to entrepreneurs, actors, athletes, and everyday people with extraordinary stories. I'm looking forward to seeing where this next collaboration takes us."
The podcast extends a partnership that has become one of Netflix's most reliable, with Coben's deal with the streamer kicking off in 2018 and continuing to produce talked-about titles.
Coben's shows are best known for their late reveals, a signature the author is now turning into this idea for a very different kind of project. His new podcast will sit alongside Netflix originals such as true-crime series Last Trace With Kaelyn Moore and British storyteller Eleanor Neale's Outlore, as the streamer continues to test how far its audience will follow it into audio and video talk formats.
