New single ‘Lose All Your Friends’ is an ode to ripping up the rulebook and starting again, with Friendly Fires tapping into their indie-dance roots. There’s a shoegaze edge to the sonics, backed by a baggy sway that recalls Happy Mondays at their most impishly unruly.
