Besides these cult gaming classics, it appears that skins for Persona 5 characters were also revealed, allowing players to achieve a victory royale as Joker.

The official trailer comes after a leak of the season appeared online as a result of Epic Games sending teaser packages to streamers.

Despite this, the trailer revealed new information with different areas for players to explore, including Green Hill Zone from Sonic and even a Pac-Man ghost inspired location.

Blasters from Mega Man are weapons, items have become Tails themed and building materials have been transformed into Tetris blocks.

However, despite this huge cross-collaboration, keep in mind it has not yet been confirmed that all the characters featured will become skins.

The new season will launch in a few days on 20 August and with the trailer garnering 1.5 million views already, it’s clear that hype is building around this Smash Bros-level collab.
