When first met she was still in school, blending online hype for her early singles with the final weeks of her A-Levels. Well, look at her now – a bona fide ‘MINI SKIRT WARRIOR’ she’s touring the world, and (get this!) releasing her superlative inducing . Truly, they grow up so fast.

So let’s begin with the conclusion. This is hands-down one of the most outright FUN pop albums you’ll hear in 2026, a dozen songs that ride a rollercoaster of youthful thrills and disappointments all while delivering frothy melodies that immediately put flowerovlove on a pedestal alongside her more illustrious peers. It’s a succinct 36 minute letter to her fans, with lyrical over-sharing, wry revelations, and more than a few surprises.

The singles you should already know – ‘In My Victoria’s Secret’ remains a gleefully frisky listen, ‘KISS KISS KISS’ feels like a lost Cranberries tune with its 90s gloss, and ‘American Wedding’ is a downright fun club stomper.

Yet there’s so much more to the album – and this precocious 21-year-old – than those songs. ‘Don’t Even’ acts as a neat warning, while rooted in gossamer acoustic guitar chords; ‘I’m your first’ is a moment of undiluted joy, while ‘baby’ fully shows off her mellifluous, technically wonderful, vocal skills.

It’s hard to know where to place flowerovlove. Drawing from indie pop and R&B in equal doses, she’s the epitome of the 2k26 pan-genre pop figure, a mosaic of sounds which nonetheless feel complete and unified. WILLOW stops by on moving closer ‘girls will be girls’ and it’s tempting to see the two in parallel, representatives of a modern, female-forward pop wave that eschews sonic boundaries. Piquant pop rebellion, ‘MINI SKIRT WARRIOR’ is a terrific debut.
