will release his new album ‘Berlin, Berlin’ on January 22nd.

The lauded songwriter’s eighth studio album, it follows the gorgeous arrangements on his 2024 release ‘O Avalanche’.

Aiming to challenge himself, Fionn Regan opted to switch things around for his new album – working with alacrity, he aimed for speed and simplicity to achieve what he wanted.

Out on January 22nd, ‘Berlin, Berlin’ will be released via Cormorant Bird, with Fionn Regan set to complete a mammoth UK and Ireland tour in Spring 2027.

Recoded in East London, he notes that he “had a craving for something minimal…”

Fionn explains: “One of the things with the album is I made it fast – super-fast. Five days, maybe six days. I wanted the songs to feel like maybe the record is something that’s come straight out of the ground. It’s like the ‘first thought, best thought’ kind of approach. That kind of slightly [Jack] Kerouac-y idea of just doing something, not thinking about it, and then making it.”

New single ‘Hurricane Bruise’ is a gorgeous listen – at times almost gossamer thing, there’s also a slight Baroque flourish to the frosted arrangement.
