Danish artist will release her new album, ‘Jazz Dreams’, on October 23rd via Escho.

Self-produced, recorded and mixed by Fine, the album’s thirteen songs unfold like a jazz improvisation; a collage of scenes, stories, and musical ideas stitched together in a dreamlike sequence. The album recalls the cut-and-paste collage imagination of Paul’s Boutique, the melodic directness of Carole King, or both sides of Scott Walker.

Fine explains: “Making records, it is not linear, Something is thrown into a room, and the bizarre is simply accepted, without ever feeling strange, you a surrender to the dream’s own logic. It’s cruel, but it’s also freeing.”

The album follows Fine’s acclaimed 2024 debut ‘Rocky Top Ballads’. It gradually took shape over sixteen months; early versions of songs appeared in live performances, while demos and alternate iterations surfaced through Fine’s NTS residency, alongside the release of prelude singles like ‘I Could’ and ‘Portal’.

With the album reveal comes new cut ‘Everything in the Shade’, a tender, piano-led overture that channels the architecture of classic songwriting through Fine’s uniquely ethereal lens.
