will be pushbike's debut release on The Bird Records, the label founded by Charlie Wayne of Black Country, New Road and Mita De.

The band, formed by singer-guitarists George Gravell and Niall Ivie with Tom Grogan on drums, came together over a shared love of indie-rock, second wave emo, hardcore and power pop. New single "Pure Hate" arrives as the first preview of the four-track collection and is accompanied by exclusive B-side "Captain On The Bridge".

was recorded in Bristol with Jack Ogborne (The New Eves, Nina Winder-Lind, Naima Bock), with the whole collection of songs being just under ten minutes.

The band have taken inspiration from the culture around Sarah Records, Cherry Red and C86, with music referencing the people and places that they grew up around. The EP is described as a "snapshot of a band on the brink", capturing a group focused on nurturing Exeter's small alternative music scene.

The EP is also set to be released physically on a limited run of cassettes and 10" vinyl, and pushbike will be playing a short run of shows in Brighton, Manchester and London to celebrate the release.
