has confirmed plans for new album ‘Diaspora Baby’.

The Cameroonian-Kiwi multidisciplinary artist has a patchwork sound, borrowing from pop melodies and alt-R&B, and lifting from club sounds and rap flows. Somehow distilling this into one potent brew, she’s been known to dub her sound ‘Electric Blue Witch-Hop’.

New album ‘Diaspora Baby’ lands on January 22nd, and it follows a string of searing, ultra-colourful singles.

Now based in London, has shared the title track. A zesty, empowering slice of music, her single ‘Diaspora Baby’ points to some of the album’s broader themes.

Held together by an assured sense of purpose, the song utilises a four-on-the-floor beat while pulling in traditional Cameroonian-inspired sounds and a heady, aromatic disco feel.
