It All Comes To End follows Martin's 2025 EP , and has been previewed with a run of singles including "Can We All Slow Down", "Please Don't Wake Me" and most recently "Red Velvet". The announcement of the EP arrives with the new track "A Confession (I'm Broke)", showcasing a playfully honest side of Martins as she addresses the realities of life as a musician.
"I wrote 'A Confession (I'm Broke)' after my card declined while trying to buy lunch one day, and later again travelling to a writing session," Martins explains. "The funny thing was that earlier that morning, I'd been gifted clothes for an upcoming shoot. I appeared to have my life together, while simultaneously not having enough money for lunch or the journey home. That contradiction inspired the song."
She adds: "The reality is that artists tend to look like they have everything together on the outside while behind the scenes, we're checking our bank balances and figuring out how to make ends meet. London has so many opportunities but it's also one of the most expensive cities to live in. I wanted to turn that very real experience into something funny and relatable. Because honestly, we're all trying to make it work right now, and if we don't laugh about it, we'll cry."
Across seven songs, Martins explores time, identity, love, heartbreak, money, expectation and the pressure to keep up appearances on It All Comes To End, tracking the experience of a young woman learning how to lead her own story. "I think for me, 'It All Comes To End' just made sense as a title because it's almost a lesson that I'm trying to learn myself — it all comes to an end, so let's live!" Martins says. "It's something that I'm working towards — being the front seat driver in my own story, in my own life."
Following support slots with Cat Burns, Paris Paloma, Maisie Peters and most recently Devon Again and Liang Lawrence, Martins heads out on the road supporting Nectar Woode throughout October, with live dates scheduled in Manchester, Glasgow, Brighton, London, and more.
