“Jackie” follows the pop duo’s EP released last year, as well as standalone single “Centipede”. It also comes just as they join Hovvdy for a run of shows across the United Kingdom and Europe.

Speaking about the track, the pair - Esme Lee-Scott and Emerson Lee-Scott - say: “‘Jackie’ is an unforgettable queer love that had to ‘switch and go’, because loving another woman could never be her long-term plan. This song, whilst about a particular girl, is also about all those who disappear. Whether by fear or by violence, many queer people are lost early and hatefully, with nobody to order a casket spray in their name. This song is about them.”
