It was a night of superb historic wins at this year's Emmys Awards as the stars gathered to celebrate the past year of stellar TV.
Whilst shows like Widow's Bay, The Pitt and DTF St Louis all scooped up accolades, the Welsh actor Matthew Rhys made Emmys history as the first actor in 78 years to win multiple lead actor awards for two different shows in the same year.
Hacks star Jean Smart also went down in the history books, becoming the first woman to win an Emmy for every season of a show. Elsewhere in the drama stakes, The Pitt unsurprisingly picked up a win for outstanding drama, and star Noah Wyle also took home an award for outstanding lead actor.
