Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) has faced the wrath of those he has wronged in Emmerdale.
Last month, after returning to her wedding marquee following an attempt to flee the village with ex-hubby Billy (Jay Kontzle), Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) pledged her allegiance to fiancé Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) and was ready to proceed with their ceremony.
Suddenly, a car crashed through the tent and towards the couple. Jimmy King (Nick Miles) was the driver, and he had no recollection of how the disaster had occurred.
Very sadly, during a conversation with his wife Nicola (Nicola Wheeler), he passed away.
But the drama was far from over, as in the aftermath of an explosion, Dawn was rushed to hospital and gave birth to a baby boy. Joe was beside her in bed talking about their happy future, though when he went to get her some water, she also died.
A flashback later revealed that Vinny was on a video call to Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) at the time of the accident, and that Jimmy had been forced to swerve to avoid a collision.
The pair have kept this a closely guarded secret ever since, but with his guilt intensifying, he decided to come clean to both Nicola and Joe earlier this week.
Nicola ordered him to leave her caff, breaking down in tears. As for Joe, his reaction was far more chilling.
In today's episode, he stood glaring at Vinny, the magnitude of the revelation creeping in. There was an angry outburst, which was overheard by Billy.
When he discovered what had happened, he launched a series of punches, knocking Vinny to the floor. Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) then walked in, and after helping Vinny to his feet, told him never to repeat what had happened.
Elsewhere, at The Woolpack, word was spreading about Vinny's involvement in the deaths. Nicola shared a tearful conversation with his boyfriend Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches), who was also oblivious to what had happened, and then picked up the phone to call the police.
Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) was reluctant to believe that Vinny was responsible, and upon his return home, was stunned to see his bloodied nose.
She was horrified by his confession and tearfully rushed out the back door. Just seconds later, he suffered from some dizziness and fell to the ground.
Will he be ok, and will Vinny be sent down for causing death by dangerous driving?
