EastEnders confirms Nicola Mitchell’s sisters Gemma and Jodie arrive in Walford tomorrow with chaotic first look

Tomorrow's episode of EastEnders is set to be a family affair, as Nicola Mitchell's (Laura Doddington) sisters Gemma (Patricia Potter) and Jodie (Anna Constable) are set to arrive in the square.

The pair are about to make an incredibly chaotic entrance, as a first-look clip shows them racing into Walford as Gemma loses control of her car - nearly running over a postman in the process.

Thankfully, the postie dodges, but a wheelie bin and Elaine's (Harriet Thorpe) peacock statue (or turkey, as Gemma calls it) get the brunt of the damage.

"I think my foot got stuck on the pedal! What do you call it? The one that makes it go," Gemma admits as she greets her sister - who's not best pleased to see her.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Nicola asks, with Gemma responding: "Nic, I am in so much trouble."

Jodie, meanwhile, is desperate for the loo - but Nicola doesn't want her going into her house to meet George (Colin Roy Salmon), something that doesn't go down too well with Gemma.

Back to the trouble, though. "Nic, I've done something really stupid, I didn't know where else to go," Gemma says.

"Ned's away, which is kinda why I'm here, because I was trying to take control of the situation before he got home. And that's why I'm in this mess."

Further explanation is going to have to wait, though, as Elaine has noticed the damage to her peacock - and she's not happy.

It was previously announced that the Hawkins clan are set to arrive in Walford, with Gemma's husband Ned set to be played by Jamie Bamber, while their son Ryder will be played by Felix Uff.

Meanwhile, Nicola will also soon come face to face with her estranged mother Rose (Marian McLoughlin).

Gemma actress Potter previously said of joining the show: "I am so delighted to be joining this iconic show as part of a new family. What a joy and a privilege to be working with such talented actors and wonderful people. I couldn’t be more excited and grateful!"

Meanwhile, Jodie actress Constable added: "Growing up watching EastEnders, I never thought a disabled actress like me could ever land a role like this. But here I am loud and proud and taking no prisoners in mine or Jodie’s wake."
