Ex-gang boss has been found guilty in the murder case.

The Los Angeles rapper was gunned down in a drive-by shooting while visiting Las Vegas in September 1996 – no one was ever convicted of his murder.

Earlier this year notorious former gang leader Duane ‘Keffe D’ Davis was placed on trial; previously a senior figure in the Compton Crips, he admitted to involvement in the murder during a 2008 police interview.

Now 63-years-old, Duane Davis has now been convicted for his part in the rapper’s murder. It took the jury only 90 minutes to deliver their guilty verdict; dressed in black, Davis listened to the verdict impassively, as per BBC.

Tupac Shakur was only 25 years old when he died, and was arguably the most famous artist in North America at the time of his murder. To date, Tupac has sold more than 75 million records, influencing the likes of Kendrick Lamar in the process.
