was originally released as a five-track album while Domino was living in downtown New York, sharing the neighbourhood with the likes of Brian Eno, Talking Heads and Laurie Anderson — with the collection being influenced by the no-wave and post-punk scenes at the time. The reissue features tracks from the original release with key singles from the period, along with seven exclusive unreleased demos digitised from Domino's original 4-track tapes, including six early versions of songs from East And West.
"Happy To Go" is the only completely new song to feature on . The track arrives today alongside the announcement of the reissue, and is accompanied by an animated video that brings together images from Domino's archive from the late 70s and early 80s New York and the Lower East Side.
In the years since , Domino has received recognition for her status with inthe minimal pop and cold wave genres. She has been covered by Clairo, and referenced by contemporary alt-pop artists such as James K, HTRK, Carla Del Forno, Astrid Sonne, Horsegirl and Smerz.
will be released on digital, CD and two vinyl formats. The standard vinyl release features the original album plus the singles, while an exclusive vinyl edition, like the CD and digital versions, also includes the seven previously unreleased early 80s demos.
