has unveiled his brand new single, ‘Small Town’, lifted from forthcoming album ‘How To Quit Smoking’, out October 9th. 

The Naples, Florida-born musician opted to make this era’s material in an unconventional way: in real time and on the road. Between tour stops, Fike writes, records, films, and releases music from cities across North America, working wherever he can; hotel rooms, the tour bus, backstage before a show.

The end-of-summer strummer ‘Small Town’ was shot in Detroit and Seattle, and released from Dallas, featuring vocals from rising artists  and . There’s an unvarnished, ad-hoc feel to the track with inspiration coming from communities and each city’s character, or characters, which bleeds into the songs.

Fike has been on the road with his Comedy Tragedy Parody Tour, a series of intimate headline shows in Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, Austin, Las Vegas, and more. It comes to a close with back-to-back performances in Los Angeles on September 29th and 30th.

Fike announced his third album exclusively through its official Instagram account  in August. He shared the lead single ‘Wallflower’ which matches the raw, stripped-back energy of the project’s overall ethos as a living, constantly evolving work.
