Doctor Foster’s Suranne Jones is among the new cast members confirmed for the 2026 west end run of An Oak Tree.

Jones has been confirmed alongside The Other Bennet Sister’s Dónal Finn and Ted Lasso’s Tanya Reynolds.

Finn will perform on 1 November, Jones will perform on 15 November, and Reynolds will perform on 24 October.

Previously announced guests include SNL’s Hammed Animashaun, Bridgerton’s Bessie Carter and, Doctor Who’s Sacha Dhawan. Plus, Rosalie Craig, Sean Gilder, Brian Gleeson, George Fouracres, Sophie Melville, Tom Mothersdale, Clare Perkins, Juliet Stevenson, Rhashan Stone, Gemma Whelan Olivia Williams,and Ria Zmitrowicz.

An Oak Tree first premiered in 2005 and has since become one of the most widely celebrated plays of the 21st century. Its basic premise sees a bereaved father coming face to face with the stage hypnotist involved in his daughter’s death, however every play is unique to the actors involved.

Over the past two decades, more than 350 performers have taken on the production. Now, it returns to the Other Palace this October as part of Francesca Moody’s new season at the venue.

Moody, who is behind the award-winning theatre adaptations of Fleabag and Baby Reindeer, is also staging the dark comedy Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible is Going to Happen, and the international smash-hit Garry Starr: Classic Penguins, plus her one-woman hit Roleplay is heading for the Soho Theatre after a sold-out Edinburgh Fringe run.

An Oak Tree will run at The Other Palace from 7 October to 14 November.
