Debuted at a protest on the steps of the Utah State Capitol, the Salt Lake City outfit share a potent, socially-conscious offering. From start to finish, the group turn to their listeners, piecing together lyrics that reflect the world’s current climate, seeking out answers over a bright, anthemic production.

The release is a testament to the band’s spirit, carried forth by a sense of empathy, empowerment and community. Formed in 2019, Die Shiny merges the minds of vocalist and singer-songwriter Callie Crofts and drummer Zac Bryant, amplifying their city’s underground over synth-led electronics. Finding their strengths in collaboration, the last year has seen the group establish themselves as one musical body, drawing in new crowds with each release.

Speaking on the track, the band shares: “A fan recently commented that we should write the new national anthem. If I were ever to attempt such a thing, this would be that song.”
