South London artist will release her debut mixtape ‘Clear Intentions’ on November 6th via Believe Records.

‘Clear Intentions’ marks the beginning of an important new chapter for the rapper who first came on the scene in 2020. Across the mixtape, Cristale explores ambition, relationships, resilience and personal evolution, offering listeners her most complete, coherent work to date. 

Cristale also had a hand in producing the tracks on the mixtape, as well as working with the likes of ,  and  to name a few. Rooted in audacity and an unwavering sense of self-regard, the mixtape promises to offer up incisive lyricism that digs deeper beyond the surface.

“Clear Intentions is about your ‘reason why’. What you want from every aspect of life and why do you want it? Work, relationships, hobbies, faith, time – what do you want from all? A goal feels more like a checkpoint, something you’re working towards, but an intention is something you feel, intentions are related to your morals, and who you are as a person,” says Cristale of the mixtape’s mission statement. 

“A goal is the thing you’re trying to do, an intention is your reason why – if your ‘reason why’ isn’t clear to you, or it doesn’t come from a pure place, you won’t move forward, only back. I’ve been there. Sometimes we get so caught up with life that we forget to live, live intentionally. We can end up in a cycle of trying to figure out where we’re going wrong if we don’t have a focal point or ‘Clear Intentions’.”

Cristale’s new single, ‘Quantum Loop’, which was named DJ Target’s Embargo on his BBC 1Xtra show, will feature on the upcoming mixtape, alongside previous offerings, ‘No Harm’ and ‘Top 3’.
